133 Windows drivers with valid signatures crawling with malware

Microsoft has found 133 of its officially signed drivers contained malware, leading to the suspension of the accounts of the developers concerned. The drivers, which had full administrative rights, were provided by Microsoft partners and could be used to remotely monitor user activity. The company advises regular updating of Windows Defender and doing an offline scan if the drivers were installed before March 2, 2023.
