14 critical access hospitals link to Nebraska HIE

Within the past month, 14 critical access hospitals in Nebraska have joined the NeHII health information exchange. NeHII uses the Axolotl HIE platform to deliver clinical information electronically at the point of care. This allows for the integration of various patient clinical data, including laboratory results, discharge summaries, and medication information. The participation of these hospitals in the exchange will improve the quality of healthcare for rural residents in Nebraska.
