14k staff at NHS trust in Liverpool have personal details mistakenly shared

Nearly 14,000 staff at Liverpool University Hospital Foundation Trust had their personal data, including salaries, inadvertently emailed to several managers. The data, which included names, addresses, National Insurance numbers, and salaries, was hidden in a tab in a spreadsheet. The Trust’s CEO, James Sumner, has since apologised for the mistake and said the process to recover and delete the information was underway.
