440+ Online Shops Hacked to Install Credit Card Stealing Malware

Over 440 online merchants have had customer payment data stolen by threat actors using digital skimming techniques, with e-commerce platforms in 17 countries targeted. Europol, Group-IB, ENISA, and EMPACT warned the merchants and gathered threat intelligence. Digital skimming often goes undetected as the stolen data is sold on Darknet marketplaces, and victims usually discover the crime after illicit transactions.
