90% organisations say generative AI will help add new lines of biz over 12 months: PwC

Around 90% of organisations believe that generative AI (gen AI) will aid in adding new business lines within a year and increase employee productivity; however, 73% reckon it could lead to major cyber attacks, per PwC’s 2024 Digital Trust Insights. The report also notes a growing trend of gen AI adoption for cyber defence, with cyber investments predicted to rise to 14% in 2024 from 11% in 2023.
