97% of CrowdStrike systems are back online; Microsoft suggests Windows changes

A flawed update to CrowdStrike’s Falcon security software that crashed millions of Windows PCs is gradually being resolved, with 97% of systems restored, according to CEO George Kurtz. Meanwhile, CrowdStrike pledged more thorough testing and a phased rollout for updates to prevent future issues. However, the firm was criticised for sending out $10 UberEats codes to cover the inconvenience caused by the disruption.
