ICO reprimands three organisations for leaking NHS patient data

The Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) has issued reprimands to three UK public sector organisations for unsafe data transfers. The Patient and Client Council and the Executive Office in Northern Ireland, and NHS Lanarkshire in Scotland, were all found to have violated data protection regulations by disclosing recipient details or sharing patient data via unsecured methods.
