Cyber Threat Intelligence Index: May 2023

The evolving threat landscape has seen cybercriminals resort to recruiting insiders for breaching systems and committing ransomware attacks, according to Flashpoint’s data. The US, the Professional Services, Internet Software & Services, and Education sectors, and ransomware were highlighted as the most frequent targets. Flashpoint also found about 2,000 new vulnerabilities were reported in May, over a third of which could pose a significant security risk.
