Thousands of NHS computers ‘still vulnerable to hackers’

Nearly 12,000 NHS computers are at risk of cyberattacks due to outdated operating systems, according to a parliamentary written question. The health minister acknowledged that over 11,600 NHS computers still use unsupported Windows XP and Windows 7 systems, leaving them highly vulnerable.
