CISA: Vulnerability Disclosure Policy Platform Shows “Tremendous Growth”

In 2022, the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) processed thousands of valid vulnerability reports with 85% successfully remediated, according to its first annual report. The action saved the government millions of dollars. The Vulnerability Disclosure Policy (VDP) platform launched by CISA in 2021 facilitates the resolution of such issues. The VDP platform has also been used to support bug bounty programs, offering financial rewards for identifying vulnerabilities.
