Roundup: M&A and a spinoff for Clearwater, RLDatix and 3M

Clearwater acquired security management firm Tech Lock, expanding its range of managed services and bolstering its focus on HIPAA compliance. RLDatix acquired Galen Healthcare Solutions to improve legacy data retention and management capabilities. 3M confirmed plans to spin off its healthcare business into an independent company called “Health Care” focused on wound care, oral care, healthcare IT, and biopharma filtration. The transaction is expected to be completed by the end of next year.
