Wales launches beta version of its own NHS app

The NHS in Wales has launched a beta version of an app granting patients access to health and care services. It will initially allow for booking appointments, viewing test results, and ordering prescriptions, with ambitions to broaden its scope. The app, part of the Digital Services for Patients and the Public (DSPP), is being trialed by a thousand patients from 10 GP surgeries with a full public debut slated for 2023.
