A new study by SecureAge found that some companies are lagging behind in cybersecurity defense training during the COVID-19 pandemic. About 40% of US employers reported experiencing a cyberattack, and 25% of US employees said their company did not invest in cybersecurity training during the pandemic. However, the majority of companies did adopt new protocols and tools in response to the pandemic, and many are planning to invest in new cybersecurity technology in the future. Technical issues, employee reluctance, skepticism from executives, and budget constraints were reported as implementation challenges.
