South Tees and North Tees trusts to work together after NHS investigation

South Tees and North Tees NHS Trusts are to collaborate, following disruption to initial plans by board member actions. An NHS England investigation found North Tees had breached confidential board discussions to discredit its southern counterpart, leading to concerns over professional conduct and the NHS’s reputation. The Trusts will remain separate but a joint chair role and Joint Partnership Board have been created to boost joint leadership and attract clinicians.
