NHS COVID pass scheme could be open to exploitation

Concerns have been raised about the NHS COVID pass in England, as a glitch in the system allows people to falsely obtain the pass. The pass indicates whether someone has been vaccinated or received a negative COVID test. Businesses have been recommended to use the pass to verify customers’ COVID status, but the system can easily be exploited due to the glitch. NHS Digital stated that the Department of Health and Social Care is responsible for the scheme.
