Gartner CIO report: IT spending expected to increase for cyber, analytics, cloud

A Gartner survey of nearly 2,000 chief information officers (CIOs) revealed that organizations are racing to digital innovation in 2021. The survey found that remote work is expected to increase this year and the support for it may be the biggest win for CIOs. The survey also identified four ways in which CIOs can make a difference in digital business acceleration and agility. Additionally, the survey showed increased funding for digital innovation among top performers and increased investment in cybersecurity. CIOs are urged to continue building momentum and engaging in strategic initiatives.
