Reported ransomware attack leads to weeks of Aprima EHR outages

A reported ransomware attack on MedNetwoRX, a partner of CompuGroup Medical, has caused disruptions to Aprima electronic health record (EHR) systems for some customers for over two weeks. The outage has impacted the ability to care for patients and access clinic schedules, chart notes, refill requests, and incoming test results. Both CompuGroup Medical and MedNetwoRX have not responded to requests for comment. Some customers have reported persisting issues even after their access was restored.
