Defending healthcare systems from the rise of targeted cyberattacks

The HIMSS Italian Community organized a webinar to address the growing concern of cybersecurity in the healthcare sector, which has been exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic. Over 10% of cyberattacks in the past 14 months were related to COVID-19, targeting research institutions and vaccine developers. The lack of awareness and prioritization of cybersecurity risks in healthcare organizations is a key issue that needs to be addressed.
