AdventHealth taps Virtustream to move Epic EHR to the cloud

AdventHealth, a health system operating 45 hospitals across nine states, will be migrating its Epic electronic health record system to Virtustream Healthcare Cloud over the next three years. The move is intended to support the health system’s long-term strategic goals of agility, application availability, and improved user experience. AdventHealth is already using Virtustream’s managed services to enhance efficiency and innovation. The migration will provide benefits such as easier virtual machine expansion, simplified quarterly updates, and advanced disaster recovery capabilities.
