Google has launched the Google Cloud Healthcare API, which enables standardized data exchange between healthcare applications and solutions built on Google Cloud. The API is HIPAA compliant and offers pre-built connectors for data processing, analytics, and machine learning. It also supports healthcare data standards and provides de-identification features to protect sensitive data. The goal is to provide scalable, real-time data analytics and improve interoperability in healthcare organizations. Google has been deploying various solutions to support healthcare providers during the COVID-19 pandemic.
