Google is bringing the FDA’s open-source MyStudies platform to the Google Cloud Platform to improve research and patient outcomes. The platform helps drug, biologic, and device organizations collect and report real-world data for regulatory submissions. Google Cloud is expanding the platform with new security and privacy controls to allow research organizations to select who can access the data. Google is also bringing the cardiovascular research study MyHeart Counts, which was previously only available to iOS users, to the FDA’s platform for enrollment of both Android and iOS users.
