Healthcare CIOs and CISOs are urged to carry out thorough research and investigation into the security and safety ramifications of medical devices being considered for use at their organizations. They are also encouraged to put pressure on manufacturers to fix current flaws and release future devices free of said flaws to address security concerns effectively.
