Novant Health migrates its Epic EHR system to the cloud

North Carolina-based health system Novant Health has migrated its Epic electronic health record (EHR) deployment to Virtustream’s cloud hosting servers in a bid to streamline efficiencies and comply with EHR, security and value-based care requirements. The move will allow Novant to make future enhancements to its system without having to completely re-architect each time.
