CISOs report cyberattacks on the rise in healthcare

A survey of 20 chief information security officers revealed that the majority of healthcare organizations have seen an increase in cyberattacks, with two-thirds reporting that attacks have become more sophisticated. Almost half of the organizations surveyed encountered attacks where the main motivation was the destruction of data. The report recommends that organizations increase endpoint visibility, establish protection against emerging attacks, and regularly train employees on cybersecurity best practices.
