Microsoft, Mastercard, Workday help create Cybersecurity Talent Initiative
Microsoft, Mastercard, and Workday have launched the Cybersecurity Talent Initiative, in which the US Department of Health and Human Services and ten other federal agencies will participate. The initiative aims to address the shortage of cybersecurity talent in the healthcare sector, with up to 3 million infosec jobs predicted to be open. It will offer student applicants a two-year placement at a federal agency, and if hired, they will receive up to $75,000 in student loans. The application process ends on October 18, 2019, and job placements will start in the summer of 2020.
