HP launches new laptop, display designed specifically for healthcare
HP has unveiled a range of new healthcare devices at the HIMSS18 conference in Las Vegas. The new portfolio, named the HP Healthcare Edition, includes a notebook, an all-in-one computer, and a clinical review display. The devices are designed to address challenges facing the healthcare industry such as patient safety, workflow efficiency, telemedicine, and data security. The HP EliteBook 840 G5 Healthcare Edition Notebook, in particular, is the world’s first ultra-slim notebook for healthcare to integrate RFID and biometrics for single sign-on authentication. HP’s new products are expected to be available from May onwards.
