Kaspersky controversy: U.S. intelligence heads warn not to trust Russian security company; KGB-trained CEO stands by record
CynergisTek CEO Mac McMillan has said that technology from cyber-security firm Kaspersky Lab could be vulnerable to exploitation, but adds that all technology has the potential to be exploited. McMillan’s comments come after federal investigations were launched into the company in relation to its relationship with Russian President Vladimir Putin’s regime. Kaspersky’s software is deployed on 400 million computers worldwide.
