Is the NHS investment in data security paying dividends?

Despite warnings about healthcare being a prime target for cybercrime, there seems to be fewer UK healthcare data breaches offered for sale on the dark web than US ones. This has led to questions over whether the NHS’s investment in data security is effectively hindering cyber criminals. Not all stolen data is traded openly, though, and the value of public sector healthcare data is less than private sector data, as seen in the US.
