Survey: Personal health information less secure in 2010

A recent survey by nCircle found that 47% of IT security professionals believe their personal healthcare information is less secure than it was a year ago. The survey also revealed that insider threats are the most serious security issue facing healthcare organizations. The complex network of healthcare organizations’ business partners was identified as a vulnerability and the need to establish security policies for these partners was emphasized.
