Nuance says majority of clients back online after Petya cyberattack
Nuance Communications has restored functionality for 75 percent of its eScription LH platform clients following the Petya malware attack in June. The company’s eScription RH and Clinic 360 platforms have been restored since July 3. The investigation found that the virus was not designed to compromise or extract data, and therefore the attack is classified as a security incident rather than a breach.
