What Microsoft’s security war room means for hospitals

Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella has outlined a new approach to cybersecurity in a “State of Security” address. The company plans to improve security for Windows, Azure, and Office 365, as well as infrastructure, personal mobile devices, and services. Microsoft aims to enhance its security posture by adopting cloud technology, modern platforms, and comprehensive identity, security, and management solutions. The company will establish a cyber defence operations centre and create a dedicated enterprise cybersecurity group. Microsoft is also partnering with Box and Adobe to prevent accidental sharing of corporate data.
