John Muir Health taps new CISO

John Muir Health in Walnut Creek, Calif., has appointed Thomas August as its chief information security officer. August brings 20 years of experience in information security and previously served as the director of information security at Sharp HealthCare in San Diego. He will be responsible for developing strategic IT risk management plans at John Muir Health. The organization is a not-for-profit healthcare organization with medical centers in Concord and Walnut Creek.
