Epic tops 2011 Best in KLAS Awards

In 2011, KLAS released its annual “Best in KLAS Awards” for healthcare IT vendors. Epic was ranked as the top software vendor with a score of 87.1, while MaxIT Healthcare received top ratings for professional services with a score of 88.7. The report also highlighted the successful go-lives of certain systems, such as interface engines and health information exchange, while other areas like anesthesia and medication administration still struggled. KLAS President Adam Gale emphasized the importance of the rankings in helping providers make informed purchasing decisions.
