New Jersey health system offers consumers ‘hybrid PHR’

Virtua, the largest healthcare system in Southern New Jersey, is offering a free online personal health record (PHR) to consumers in the three counties it serves. The PHR, provided by Zweena, will be available for one year and aims to enhance patient health by making personal health record collection easier. The records will be collected from doctors’ offices and turned into structured data sets. After the initial free period, consumers can choose to purchase an entry package or a single connection for continued access to their PHR.
