PwC named Common Security Framework Assessor

The Health Information Trust Alliance has designated PricewaterhouseCoopers US as a Common Security Framework Assessor. PwC will evaluate and certify security standards of services associated with the CSF, as well as assist healthcare organizations with adopting healthcare information security approaches. The designation affirms PwC’s experience in privacy, security, and identity theft prevention, and meets the growing demand for assurance of information safety. Concerns over information security are being heightened by factors such as increased electronic health record adoption and new federal privacy and security laws.
