Change Healthcare makes another move toward blockchain, joins Hashed Health
Health IT company Change Healthcare has joined the Hashed Health consortium, which brings together health IT companies to explore the use of blockchain and distributed ledger technologies. Change Healthcare has also joined the Linux Foundation’s Hyperledger initiative to further its commitment to blockchain. The company’s chief technology officer, Aaron Symanski, said blockchain has the potential to enable value-based care and improve financial interoperability in healthcare.
