St. Jude fires back at Muddy Waters, MedSec: Our medical devices are secure

St. Jude Medical is disputing claims by Muddy Waters Capital and MedSec that its pacemakers and other heart devices are vulnerable to hacking. Muddy Waters has accused St. Jude of knowing about these security problems for three years, and suggested that it is profiting from the bad news about the devices. St. Jude has defended the security of its devices, citing evaluations by independent organizations.
