TRICARE seeks vendor data for military EHR system

TRICARE, the health care program for active duty service members, is seeking industry input for a Web-based electronic health records system. The system would aggregate patient data over time, operate in all care settings, and allow information sharing with health partners. TRICARE is requesting information from vendors about their certification, data storage model, interoperability, and features for clinical decision support, immunization, and personal health records. They plan to issue a request for proposals in the near future.
