IBM and American Well team for online data security

IBM and American Well have announced an expanded partnership to enhance security within American Well’s online care system. This collaboration aims to protect patient information exchanged during web-based consultations with healthcare professionals. American Well provides online care services that enable patients to connect with healthcare providers for primary and specialty care consultations, even if healthcare providers are fully booked. IBM will assist American Well in integrating security into their application development process to create more secure telehealth applications.
