This destructive malware is targeting Windows users as a fake password manager, so beware
Cybersecurity researchers from Proofpoint discovered a malware dubbed ZenRAT, impersonating popular password manager Bitwarden. The malware creators used a typosquatted domain for Bitwarden and built a similar site to deceive users into downloading. The malware collects system information and steals passwords from users’ browser data. Windows users are particularly vulnerable, while Mac and Linux users are redirected to a benign page.
