Bing Chat exploited by cybercriminals to spread malware, Microsoft users urged to exercise caution

Microsoft’s AI-powered chatbot, Bing Chat, is being exploited by cybercriminals to spread malware-infected software through counterfeit websites, warns cybersecurity firm Malwarebytes. Users are redirected to deceptive sites when clicking on sponsored links provided by the chatbot. Conventional search engines and ad blockers are suggested protective measures.
