Rapid7 enhances MDR service with advanced endpoint prevention and forensic capabilities

Cybersecurity firm Rapid7 has enhanced its Managed Detection and Response (MDR) service with the addition of next-generation antivirus (NGAV) and Velociraptor’s digital forensics and incident response capabilities. The new features are expected to reduce endpoint security cost and complexity. Rapid7 also plans to expand its ability to identify and block advanced threats by integrating the technology from its recently acquired firm, Minerva Labs.
