New Menorah malware bolsters OilRig APT’s cyberespionage efforts

Iranian cyber espionage operation OilRig added the Menorah malware to its arsenal against Saudi-based organizations, according to The Hacker News. The sophisticated attack commences with a lure document that spawns the malware and establishes remote server communication. Menorah features directory and file listing capabilities, along with system file uploading, shell command execution and file downloading.
