WatchGuard Threat Lab Report Finds Endpoint Malware Volumes

WatchGuard® Technologies’ latest Internet Security Report highlights key malware trends and threats. According to the report, 95% of malware is delivered over encrypted connections, and while endpoint malware volumes have decreased, malware campaigns have grown more widespread. Ransomware detections have decreased, while double-extortion attacks saw a significant increase. Old software vulnerabilities continue to be exploited by threat actors and Windows OS tools are increasingly being used to deliver malware.
