Kaspersky Issues Crimeware Report, Uncovers “WormGPT”

Kaspersky has been tracking Zanubis, an Android trojan that targets financial and crypto users in Peru. It lures users into granting permissions by posing as legitimate applications, including an official app for a Peruvian government organization. In separate news, Kaspersky has signed an OEM agreement with Centerm to globally deliver KasperskyOS-based software products. The cybersecurity firm also discovered websites on the dark web selling fake access to the WormGPT malicious AI tool.
