Russian cybercriminal Dariy Pankov pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit access device and computer fraud in Tampa, Florida. Pankov developed and sold malicious software capable of decrypting login credentials, and sold these on the dark web for illegal activities, including ransomware attacks and tax fraud. He agreed to forfeit $358,437, gained from the operations. No date has been set for sentencing.
