Fake Cisco Webex Google Ads abuse tracking templates to push malware

Cybercriminals have exploited a loophole in Google Ads’ tracking templates to create unsafe Webex software search ads, redirecting users to sites that distribute BatLoader malware. The malvertising campaign, believed to originate from Mexico, has been active on Google Search for a week. The unsafe ads replicate legitimate Webex advertisements, using the official logo and URL to appear genuine.
