New MetaStealer Malware Targets macOS Users

A new malware named MetaStealer is specifically targeting enterprise users of Mac devices. Researchers from SentinelOne found MetaStealer to be primarily hidden in malicious documents or files, often disguised as Adobe applications or files for business users. This malware, which steals saved passwords, keychain contents, and other files, is specifically designed for Apple M1 and M2 processors. It’s one of several “infostealers” targeting Mac users recently.
