New ZenRAT Malware Targeting Windows Users via Fake Password Manager Software

A new malware strain, ZenRAT, is pretending to be the Bitwarden password manager, distributed through bundled installation packages on fake websites. Targeting Windows users, ZenRat gathers CPU, GPU, OS, browser and application information on infected systems. Cybersecurity firm Proofpoint advised users to only download software from trusted sources and verify website authenticity to prevent such threats.
