Binance’s Smart Chain Exploited in New ‘EtherHiding’ Malware Campaign

Hackers are using Binance’s Smart Chain (BSC) contracts to spread malware through compromised WordPress sites, in a campaign called EtherHiding. Users are falsely told to update their browsers which leads to the deployment of stealing malware. There’s currently no way to intervene and disrupt the attack due to its hosting on a decentralized service. Internet security researchers suggest following best practices and keeping systems updated to avoid infection.
